Scottish Revival - NF 194 Pages Print $19.95 This book is a combination of three of the Author’s earlier titles, Great Scot, Pentecost 1830, and A Man Approved Of God. – In late 1829 in the West Coast of Scotland a unique revival started. A Scottish pastor, Edward Irving, had been preaching on the Holy Spirit and he did not expect a full blown Pentecostal revival. The revival spread to Irving’s Scottish church in London and many people attended. As things grew to be more widespread Irving literally worked himself to death, caught pneumonia and died at the age of 42. His followers started the Catholic Apostolic Church which became heavily involved in liturgy. The denomination now exists only in Australia. This book studies the movement and the teachings of Edward Irving, a Reformed theologian, of unusual breadth.
Ultimate Freedom - NF 94 Pages $9.95 Kindle $4.95
Commentary. Many would consider Paul's letter to the Galatians as second only to his letter to the Romans in importance. It has been said that if you were to be stranded on a desert island with only one book from the Bible that Romans would be a very good candidate to take along as it so clearly lays down the primary principles of the Christian faith. Some would take a Gospel, perhaps Mark or John. Others might prefer something else. At any rate, Galatians is a sort of 'little Romans' as it deals with the same primary concerns. In the end everyone has different insights to various parts of scripture and if you read enough of them you will certainly be wise in the things of God. Most importantly, you would understand God's free grace like never before.

Many people think that America’s next great faith will be Islam. This is not true. In fact, Islam does not come close to being the biggest challenge to Christianity in America. The counter faith to Christianity in America is Secular Humanism. Secular Humanism exalts mankind and the achievements of mankind over everything. It is the modern equivalent of the Greek and Roman gods. While the modern American would not fall down and actually worship a statue of Zeus or Jupiter, he is capable of holding the human race in reverence so highly that it amounts to worship. Nevertheless, Secular Humanism although it often partners with Christianity will not prevail either. Here is why.

1. Believers have been lulled to sleep by entertainment and materialism.
2. Concepts of the return of Christ have been reduced to mere escapism, the secret rapture.
3. True Faith has become mere religion.
4. The Confessions and Creeds have been abandoned.
5. The Kingdom of God is forgotten.
The Answers are in the New Testament Pattern.
We look at this Son and see the God who cannot be seen. We look at this Son and see God’s original purpose in everything created. For everything, absolutely everything, above and below, visible and invisible, rank after rank after rank of angels—everything got started in him and finds its purpose in him. He was there before any of it came into existence and holds it all together right up to this moment. And when it comes to the church, he organizes and holds it together, like a head does a body.
He was supreme in the beginning and—leading the resurrection parade—he is supreme in the end. From beginning to end he’s there, towering far above everything, everyone. So spacious is he, so roomy, that everything of God finds its proper place in him without crowding. Not only that, but all the broken and dislocated pieces of the universe—people and things, animals and atoms—get properly fixed and fit together in vibrant harmonies, all because of his death, his blood that poured down from the cross.
